Alicia L.

ALICIA L. is an artist who likes to use it all when working on her paintings; for example, just on one canvas, she can use colored pencils, china markers, pastels and acrylic paint.  She’s someone who likes to create movement through her work; the paintings are rich in texture and layers.

Alicia brings so much of herself to her work.  She feels like her “attitude” is affected by her painting time; this excites her a great deal.  She has been painting since 2004; during this time, Alicia gradually lost her eyesight.  As a result, her paintings have changed considerably, becoming more expressive and impressive.

Alicia hopes people will find beauty in her artwork.

Outside of her artwork, Alicia enjoys walking/exercising, swimming, camping, going to the movies, shopping, and going out to eat. Alicia also has a great ear and loves music and dancing.
