Erik T.

ERIK T. has been painting and drawing since childhood. His preferred medium at this time is acrylic paint on canvas. Erik also enjoys drawing, using crayons and color pencils.

Erik has said he likes to paint on “big-size canvasses”.  What is evident in his work is a love for shapes and colors. His style is fast and focused; his brushstrokes seem to flow out of him. Erik has a unique ability to blend rich and subtle colors with plain and bright ones, creating work that is dramatic and vivid. True to his concentrated style, he usually works on one painting at a time, completing his work in one sitting.

His drawings are brightly colored and more representative of what he observes in the community, including houses, people, flowers and trees.

Other than visual art, Erik enjoys music and playing the drums.
