Erin R.

ERIN R. is an enthusiastic artist who enjoys working in many mediums; using clay, oil pastels, acrylic paint, watercolor ink, and found objects in her various forms of art expression.  She remembers being a teenager when she started to explore creating art.  Her inspirations are as varied as her artwork; with her sculptures, she enjoys “making children and building her family”. Nature is often her focus in her paintings.  Her drawings can have a wide variety of influences.  When working, Erin tries to “slow it down”; she feels like she spends more time on making her sculptures than she does on her paintings and drawings.

Erin’s paintings, indeed her entire body of work, reflect her own generous and loving nature.  The “people” she creates have complex back stories and are considered by her a part of the family.  She imbues them with rich personalities and experiences which enhances her interactions with them.  When people come to see her artwork, Erin hopes they leave feeling “very happy”.  Her wishes speak greatly to who she is and what she hopes to accomplish with her artwork.

Outside of her artwork, Erin also enjoys exercise, shopping at Willowbrooke Mall, and going out to restaurants to eat.  Above all else, Erin enjoys taking care of her Momma Bear and Poppa Bear.
