Kevin M.

KEVIN M. is a daring person and likes to take risks in his artwork.  Starting from when he was a child at home, he explored art with his mom. His favorite medium is acrylic paint on canvas. It is the “soft and liquid texture of the paint” that inspires him. While he prefers acrylic paint, Kevin is always open to trying other kinds of materials and techniques when expressing himself through his work.

When asked what he enjoys about painting, he thought for a moment and then said, “… the calm and peacefulness I feel.”  Kevin also shared his love of color and color mixing in his abstract work. He likes to work on big size canvas. It takes him anywhere from 6 months to a year to complete a painting, working once a week, an hour at a time. Kevin has recently been exploring watercolor paints and mixing it with drawing materials.

Kevin comes from a close family and enjoys social time and outings with family and friends. He has a joyful spirit and likes to laugh a lot. Another favorite hobby of Kevin’s is singing and greatly enjoys to entertain a variety of audiences.
