Harmony is a WAE Center group show in collaboration with The Creativity Caravan in Montclair, NJ.
As with beauty “harmony” exists in the mind and eye of the beholder. By definition harmony is a consistent, orderly, or pleasing arrangement of parts. A piece may be made up of various shapes that seem to fit together just right. Perhaps the balance of negative space or lights and darks make the artwork pleasing to the eye. Some pieces may have colors that blend beautifully together to give a peaceful feeling. Maybe the physical arrangement of a group of art pieces together create harmony. The interesting thing is that a piece may feel harmonious to one viewer while feeling discordant to another.
