April 25, 2018 Heading over to Newark last week, our members were greeted by long-time WAE Center friend Caren King Choi, Associate Director of Programs, Paul Robeson Galleries at Express Newark. She took them through the “Mirror Mirror” exhibition in the Main Gallery which will be up through Dec 20, 2018. Stirring on many levels, this show was enjoyed by all. “Mirror Mirror” features works in a variety of media and plumbs the relationship between identity, cultural norms, and representation. Members were invited to participate in a mixed-media art-making workshop afterward. This powerful art exhibit is not to be missed!
