George Segal Gallery Panel Discussion

We took a trip to the George Segal Gallery, to see the latest installation of the name sake’s artwork.  This was an interesting visit, as it was also part of the lead-up to a panel discussion which we were asked to participate in.  Our friend, Adam Swart, the Art Gallery Education Coordinator, invited us to be a part of the ADA training he was holding for the gallery staff. The panel discussion was facilitated by Robert Carr, NJ Theater Alliance Director of Programs & Services and ADA Coordinator.  Three of our members were invited to share with the assembled group, their experiences of visiting the gallery as a person who lives with different abilities.  It was an educational and empowering opportunity for our member’s voices to be heard.
