March 19, 2021 This week, Adam Swart from The George Segal Gallery returned for another guided virtual art trip; this one focusing on women artists. The artists explored were: Evelyn Wilson, Ladies of the Villages and Terpsichore (sculpture) Zilla Sussman, Untitled (Four Houses) Lida Hilton, Airport Series, block print, Cliché #2 block print Julie Heffernan, Self-Portrait with Scroll 2 Adam pointed out various techniques that were used and engaged the members in discussions about what feelings they got or their thoughts on what was used as inspiration. Always a wonderful discussion.
