March 10, 2017 We are honored to reveal that our WAE Center artist, Sophia P., has had 2 pieces selected to be a part of the prestigious Annual Open Juried Exhibition “ViewPoints 2017.” at aljira, a Center for Contemporary Art, 591 Broad Street, Newark, NJ. There will be an Opening Reception Saturday, June 3 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm and the show will run from June 1 – June 30. Recognized as a Major Arts Institution by the NJ State Council on the Arts, aljira fosters excellence in the visual arts through exhibitions and educational programs that serve as catalysts for inclusiveness and diversity.
